Adrianne and Elijah's story

It was the first day of year 9 in Southville International School. For Adrianne the first day was nothing exciting. She was ready wearing her uniform and looked at herself in the mirror. Her hair was just around her shoulders so she hadn’t bothered to tie it up, her lips had a reddish shade, and she was quite tall and had a good figure. Not only was Adrianne good looking but she was also smart, that’s why she had many admirers, although she always ignored them. She was never excited when it came to school and meeting new people. She just didn’t want to talk or socialize with other people! There were a lot of new students coming into their school and that included a boy named Elijah. He was the boy version of Adrianne; he was smart, tall, handsome and he didn’t express any feelings in his face. He was the son of a wealthy businessman, the same as Adrianne. On the first day, they were classmates and they are seatmates. They didn’t talk to each other the whole day. Some of the new students were getting close with the other students but the two were just sitting there quietly. Elijah and Adrianne's atmosphere was so down.

Months had passed Adrianne and Elijah didn’t talk to each other, though they were always paired together for group work. They’d just ignore each other, they didn’t plan to sit in silence, it just happened. Until one day Adrianne saw Elijah on the rooftop punching the wall. His hands were getting red and had bruises, the wall had his blood  in it. She walked to him and stood looking at him without a single expression in her face. She asked Elijah calmly “What are you doing?” But Elijah just ignored her and walked away. Adrianne didn’t bother to follow him because she lost interest. The following day is supposed to be a normal day but suddenly a tall man wearing a suit with a very well built body and is in mid 50s was walking in the hallway and went to Elijah who was just sitting on a bench holding a book. He then suddenly grabbed Elijah’s collar and said many hurtful words to him. The man punched Elijah that caused a blood in his side lips. Elijah just stood there and just accepted the hurtful words said to him by his father. When his dad left he went straight to the rooftop to vent his anger.

Adrianne went to the rooftop again to eat but suddenly she heard something. She decides to see where it is, then she sees Elijah crying and punching the wall again. Adrianne can feel his feelings because she already went through it. She then walked closer to Elijah and told him to look at her eyes. She told him that he can tell her anything because she told him she can feel his pain. Elijah hesitates but in the end he tells her all the things he went through and why his dad punched him and said many hurtful words. Elijah told her that his father made him present in their company. They didn’t like his presentation because it was like a beginners presentation. He looked like a child complaining. He was still a teenager and had a lot more things to learn but why would his father make him do that. He still doesn’t know some things about their company but he is willing to learn it all just to make his father proud. After that day they felt comfort for each other, then they became friends.

Adrianne and Elijah were always together since then. As time went by they are officially in college now. Both of them were at the top when they were high school students. They never consider each other as a threat. Both of them are in Business Management. They wanted to go in that course because they both wanted to show that they are capable of running their family businesses. They both were always at the top, they will always be at the top and their grades were always a tie. Years have passed and now their graduation has come. Adrianne and Elijah were both excited, both of them were laude.Their parents finally appreciated Adrianne and Elijah’s hard work. They were so proud. After college they entered their own families businesses and merged them. Then they became the wealthiest families and the youngest billionaires in the world.
